Dr. Gregor Brudek
Managing Director
Gregor has more than 20 years of leadership in mechanical engineering, rail technology, and industrial innovation. Gregor is additionally experienced in driving business growth, managing large-scale projects, and leading international teams. His background includes senior roles in sales, development, and executive management at Schalker Eisenhütte Maschinenfabrik GmbH and Indunorm Bewegungstechnik GmbH.
Gregor holds a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität and a Dipl.-Ing. from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Gregor is passionate about advancing rail solutions, mining technology, and automation in heavy industries.
Jan Metzelaers
Sales Engineer
With over 10 years of experience in rail technology, engineering, and sales, Jan brings a unique blend of technical and commercial expertise to Schalke Locomotives. He began his career as a mechanical engineer, gaining hands-on knowledge of locomotive systems and sub-systems through roles in systems engineering and R&D. Over time, he transitioned into sales, where he has been instrumental in developing Schalke’s modular energy supply approach (ModuTrac). In his current role, Jan consults with clients to identify the right locomotive or complete rail haulage solution, prepares offers, negotiates contracts, and ensures projects exceed customer expectations.
He is particularly passionate about advancing sustainable rail solutions for the mining sector.
Svetlana Brosowski
After Sales Representative
Svetlana’s extensive experience includes sales, project management, and contract management in the rail and industrial sectors. She has previously held roles in project sales and technical sales, gaining strong expertise in both commercial and technical aspects of the industry.
Svetlana holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Business Administration and an IHK certification in Agile Project Management, combining analytical and agile skills to deliver innovative and reliable solutions. She is passionate about building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in the railway sector.
